Alice K. Dueker is an experienced estate planning and elder law attorney, teacher, and counselor. She is a trained mediator. She applies her extensive experience to help you navigate the choices that come with health challenges, life changes, retirement, or the need to help a family member through such changes.
Estate planning gives you the opportunity to decide how you want to be cared for if you cannot care for yourself, what legacy you want to leave your children, and how you want to reward the people and institutions that are important to you. Elder Law is an extension of this planning, and focuses on the particular choices that we face as we age and need increasing care and support.
Ms. Dueker graduated from Bryn Mawr College and New York University School of Law, and also earned a Masters in Law (Advocacy) at Georgetown University Law Center. For many years she taught, practiced estate planning and elder law, and supervised student lawyers at Rutgers University School of Law — Camden. She is the author of Elder Law in New Jersey: Finding Solutions to Legal Problems.
